Professional Home Care Agency

We are driven by our experience caring for members of our own familes and are passionate about treating each person in a way that enables them to feel dignified and confident. We believe that all people are entitled to compassion and care, and we are committed to providing just that for each client.

We are a family-owned home health agency, and family is the heart and soul of what we do—hiring only the best caregivers in the industry and treating them like family so that they, in turn, treat our clients like family. This is just one way we are dedicated to serving you.

That’s the Lares secret.

We do what we do because we firmly believe that seniors who are given the ability to live and thrive in their communities and homes as long as possible are those who are the most satisfied with their quality of life—our purpose is to give them this chance. By supporting our clients in this way, we can help them lead happier, confident, and more independent lives—an opportunity that they simply can’t receive from a facility.

We are so confident in our services because everything we do at Lares Home Care is based on seven key principles, which drive us to serve with the kind of excellence that has made us New Jersey’s Top Rated Local® home care:

  • FAMILY
  • TRUST
  • COMPASSION
  • CARE
  • DEPENDABILITY
  • SECURITY
  • PEACE OF MIND

What sets us apart from other home care agencies is that we know that every client and every situation is unique, and we firmly believe that there is never a one-size-fits-all solution to senior care. Because of this, we conduct detailed, in-home assessments so that we can develop a very specific care plan for each person.

Part of this care plan is finding a personal caregiver for each client who is not only suited to provide for their needs, but who will match the lifestyle and personality of the client. This relationship is critical.

We will carefully work with the client over a few weeks to ensure that the caregiver is providing the level of care needed for their specific patient. If it doesn’t seem to be the right fit, we are happy to work with the client to find a caregiver who more comfortably meets their needs and wants.

We know that providing this level of care means never resting, so we are there when you need us: 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Because the care we provide is not based on a franchise agreement or a national office but rather on our clients’ needs, we have the freedom needed to provide the quality service that you expect.

Based on the initial consultation, you or your loved one will be matched with a compatible caregiver to ensure that you are getting the right level of service you expect, on day one. Each professional assessment is reviewed by our Director of Nursing to tailor our services to your needs.

We specialize in 24-Hour Home Care, including Live-In Care. We offer personalized Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care, Personal Care, and Companion Care. Our Care Management services offer a way to bridge the gap between growing needs and available resources.
